Hi i am ron brooks i draw caricatures for a living in south carolina. The purpose of this blog is to
showcase how caricatures can be inexpensive and makes great gifts for any occassion.
I grew up in chicago in the 60"s and 70"s Where lot of changes was taking place socialable and more. I always love drawing because it help me take my mind off the problems my family was induring in those turbalent times. I always wanted to be a cartoonist because i love the cartoons i watch on tv.Cartooning was a way the make me laugh and bring joy to others.In my early Adult years i went into the army to help pay my college tuition.There i discovered not only i can cartoon very well but i can draw great portraits of my fellow soldiers. When i left the service in the 80"s . I took art classes in the midwest at several colleges.There at that colleges i heard about drawing caricatures of people.Where i can draw funny like cartoons of people faces. My first job at time was at sixflags of st.louis in the early eighties.But what really help me expand my knowledge about caricatures was when i landed my dream job at Disney World orlando florida.
